After last year's first edition, Altroke Food Festival returns to Novi Vinodolski and brings a rich program intended for all generations. May 1-4, Frankopan Square is transformed into the epicenter of gastronomic offerings and outdoor entertainment. Admission to the festival is free, and we bring you the festival's opening hours; from Thursday to Saturday the festival will be open from 17 pm to midnight, while on Sunday it is open from 24 pm to 13 pm.
Like last year, the festival maintains its urban and accessible character with a diverse and carefully selected gastronomic offer that will satisfy all lovers of fine street food specialties. The team from Marmot Taqueria prepares authentic Mexican specialties such as tacos, quesadillas and burritos, while Sosalicious street food delight visitors with their creative interpretations of Istrian specialties. The festival opens on May 1st at 17 pm, and the musical rhythms of the popular L'amour trio will entertain visitors from 20 pm. Friday, May 2nd, starting at 20 pm, will feature a stand-up show starring Bloger Krule, who will surely make the audience laugh to tears. Saturday, May 3rd, is reserved for the energetic Žažara band, while Sunday, May 4th, is dedicated to the youngest - Kids Day brings a rich program with a magic performance by Andrej Škedel, face painting, creative workshops and the inevitable rubber castle.
Over four days filled with flavors, laughter, and musical rhythms, the festival offers content for all generations – from gourmets to families with children. With a rich program and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere, Altroke is the perfect spring destination for anyone who wants to enjoy rich content and good company.
Flower fair which will be held on Friday and Saturday (May 2nd and 3rd) will further brighten up the center of Novi and offer all lovers of this hobby beautiful seedlings to decorate their gardens. The Parish of St. Philip and James will also serve solemn holy mass on the occasion of the day of its patron saints, Saints Philip and Jacob, who are also the heavenly protectors of Novi Vinodolski.
