Great news for all lovers of the underworld comes from Velebit Nature Park. The Cerovac Caves will be open during the school holidays, during the period from February 24th to March 2nd, it will be open to visitors every dayNamely, the Cerovac Caves have been open only on Saturdays and Sundays since mid-January, and will remain so until March 10th, with the exception of this week, when numerous students and their families will have the opportunity to visit the largest cave tourist complex in Croatia, every day.
Located in the southern part of the Velebit Nature Park, four kilometers from Gračac, Cerovac Caves are one of the most important, but also the most famous speleological objects in Croatia. The complex consists of three caves, Lower, Middle and Upper, and about seven kilometers of canals have been explored.
About 700 meters of the Lower and Upper Caves are open to tourists, but that is enough to enjoy the beauties of the Cerovac Caves.

With its constant dripping, water continues the thousands of years old process of building whitefish. These caves are extremely rich in finds from the ancient past. Apart from a large amount of archeological remains, they are also one of the largest cave bear sites in Croatia.

Price of an individual ticket to visit one cave, which is valid until June, is 11 euros for adults, 7 euros for children aged 18 to 7, and 9 euros for students, pensioners, hikers and people with disabilities. For both caves The ticket price for adults is 15 euros, for children 11 euros, and for students, pensioners, hikers and people with disabilities 13 euros. Entrance to the caves is at 10:00, 11:30, 13:00 and 14:30, and the souvenir shop is open from 9:16 to XNUMX:XNUMX.
