Easter in Novalja will once again be marked this year with the traditional event "Easter Breakfast", which is held every year on Easter Monday in the morning. This gastronomic event is one of the longest-running events in Novalja, having been held continuously since, now, 2001.
In Novalja, Easter is not just a holiday, but also a moment of gathering, togetherness and enjoyment of a tradition that has been passed down through generations.
On Easter Monday, the table in Novalja cannot be complete without the aroma of homemade pogača, boiled eggs, delicious Pag cheese and melt-in-your-mouth cooked ham. Add a glass of local wine or prosecco – and you have the perfect start to the day.
Iz Novalja Tourist Board invite you to enjoy the cheerful atmosphere and homemade delicacies, and the Easter breakfast will be held on Monday, April 21st, starting at 11 am on Basilica Square.
The hosts will prepare a rich gastronomic range of island local dishes for you, especially those that are on the Novalja holiday table during Easter. Along with traditional Easter specialties of Novalja cuisine, visitors will also enjoy a musical concert by the group Prvi plan.
