Gorski Kotar got a new resort: It's not a fairy tale from Tales from the Past, but in this fairy tale, too, Stribor is the bearer of the spell.

Ogulin is the town of Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić, and Gorski Kotar is the birthplace of fairy tales. Stribor also lives in this homeland - namely, the city of fairy tales has become richer with luxurious accommodation capacity called Resort Stribor.

Located in Ponikva and surrounded by magical nature, the resort is intended for families, lovers of active vacations and the surreal. It consists of a facility with nine rooms and a total of 27 beds and a spa area. The rooms leave a strong feeling of connection with the environment. It is defined by pleasant minimalism, luxury expressed by natural materials. The balcony with a view of the forest and greenery is just a prelude to the instant revitalization you feel every time you dip into your private hydromassage pool.

- We wanted to identify with the fairy tale and connect with what man misses most today: peace, freedom, local, natural environment. The brand name "Anni Tempora for real estate management" was given for a reason - we want to experience tourism in all seasons. Sogan "breathe in, dive in" represents two opposite offers, but at the same time very similar, which ultimately form a whole. "Breathe" is associated precisely with this project and the cleanliness of Gorski Kotar, the freshness of the air, a break from the urban and fast-paced. "Zaroni" represents the coastal part of the Anni Tempora project and holiday villas located in Istria. We need air before diving, and vice versa. These two elements are constantly intertwined, emphasizing their dependence on each other. All the time they are accompanied by fairies - those from the fairy tale of Ogulin and the accommodation facility in Kadumi near Poreč, which are named after ancient Croatian myths and legends. Anni Tempora emphasizes the diversity of Croatia, its peculiarities, and the name itself confirms the potential of tourism and the interest of today's modern traveler "for all seasons". pointed out the owner and director of the newly opened Resort Stribor Ivica Milotic.

The project added value to natural, responsible and sustainable. Namely, Stribor is heated with olive pits processed in the Torač oil mill in Žbandaj near Poreč, while the gastronomic specialties of the resort are Istrian cured meat products Histris from Sv. Petra in the Forest, produced from game from the leased hunting grounds in the vicinity of Ogulin.

By the way, Histris cares exclusively local and domestic in its production: the meat is from Croatian farms and Croatian hunting grounds, while the employees in the plant are the resident population. Salami and sausages made from deer and wild boar are combined with the Istrian truffle, so the forest kings of Gorski kotar and Istria united continental Croatia with the coast in this way. In conclusion, Anni Tempora completes the process "from the forest to the table".

- We give importance to pure nature and what nature can give to man, less developed tourist area of Croatia and its valorization. I would like to thank the City of Ogulin and Karlovac County for their excellent cooperation - they recognized the investment as strategically important for the development of the border area of Karlovac and Primorsko-Goranska County, i.e. Gorski Kotar. The specific environment and natural beauty is only an hour's drive away from Stribor, such as the Plitvička Jezera National Park, the Aquarium in Karlovac, Julia's Abyss, the House of Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić, the Bjelolasica and Risnjak nature parks, etc. and the wealth of flora and fauna were our leitmotif. No less important is the warm welcome of the local population. With this project, the desire was to repay the community, nature, hunting, the region, the people I like to visit, where I feel good and where I like to return for 25 years, points out the investor whose wish is to expand the offer of the resort and connect it with the local offer.

Ponikve and its surroundings are abundant with water and pure nature, so cycling, hiking, water sports, fishing and hunting tourism are the reasons for coming to the destination. In addition, the location of the resort is "halfway" from the interior of Croatia and the Adriatic Sea, about 15 minutes' drive from the Zagreb - Rijeka highway.
