The famous American adventurer and presenter on the National Geographic channel, Hazen Audel, visited Dalmatia last year and was delighted by its beauty and rich tradition. He came to Croatia at the invitation of Nikola Baraka to visit Šibenik on Croatian Travel Festival and shared his experiences and skills.

- It all started when I saw Hazen Audel on National Geographic and decided to invite him to Šibenik for the Croatian Travel Festival. After three years from the first contact, everything worked out. When he already agreed to come from the USA to Croatia, I invited Hazen to stay for two weeks and to travel from Zadar to Dubrovnik. This gave birth to the idea to shoot a promotional video for Dalmatia, says Baraka.
The adventurer, whose popular show "Primal Survivor" is broadcast on National Geographic, visited Dalmatia and Croatia after the festival to explore unique locations. In addition to Šibenik, Hazen visited Zadar, Split, Brač, Dubrovnik, Konavle and the national parks Kornati, Krka and Mljet.
He gained popularity thanks to his appearances in television shows dedicated to adventure travel and wilderness survival. For more than 30 years, he has explored the most remote parts of the world and revealed them to numerous viewers through his globally popular show "Primal Survivor", which is in its seventh season broadcast abroad in 47 languages and is one of the highest rated shows of the National Geographic channel.
- I am proud of this project and everything we have done from one decision that it is possible to bring Hazen Audel to the festival in Šibenik. The plan is to film Slavonia and Baranja, Lika, Gorski Kotar, Kvarner, Istria, Međimurje..., says Baraka.
