Jelačić hot spring

Jelačić's spring was built at the end of the 19th century in the forest of the village of Velika Vranovina, a little more than 2,5 kilometers from Topusko, so the trip to this spring is a real treat for lovers of walking. The spring was often visited by the commander of the Glin regiment, Josip Jelačić, who used to enjoy hours in the shade of the spring with the sound of clear, extremely cold water. Because of his frequent visits, the local population called this spring Jelačić's spring, and the name has remained to this day.

Bank's spring

In the second half of the 19th century, in memory and honor of his father, Ivan Benko, the then commander of the First Ban Regiment, his son Antun had a source of cold and drinking water arranged and surrounded everything with stone dominated by a large crucifix. Even today, almost 200 years later, the local population knows how to lay bouquets of flowers on major church holidays.

Mollinary's spring

The water source (spring) was arranged in 1877 in honor of the Austrian general and manager of the Croatian-Slavonian Military Territory Anton Mollinary (1820-1904). The cold and potable water of this spring is suitable for drinking, and the shady grove provides shade for thirsty travelers and pilgrims. In modern times, the spring was decorated and renovated in the organization of the Topusko Red Cross Municipal Society in 1998.
