For all lovers of autochthonous Istrian cuisine, simple and good dishes, the first weekend in May brings a special surprise. We eagerly awaited the spring edition of gourmet events Vrsaran nudists, which will be held from May 5 to 14 in Vrsar, and everyone who happens to be in Wife will be able to taste traditional specialties made from fresh and local ingredients.
The Istrian tradition, combined with the creativity of Vrsar chefs, awaits visitors at seven Vrsarske restaurants and taverns: Fančita, Dvi Palme, San Giorgio (Villa Vrsar), Goran, Kod Luce, Rotonda and Lovor Real Grill (Belvedere). You will find chicken gumbo with fuji, sea bream fillet in Adriatic prawn sauce and spicy polenta, squid and hake brodette with white polenta, pjukanci with prawns and asparagus, ravioli stuffed with slow-roasted pork, homemade gnocchi with beef rind and fuji with game scabies. Of course, along with excellent traditional dishes, there is also a glass of wine from the best Istrian producers.
Each restaurant offers two menus consisting of three courses and a glass of wine from Istrian producers, and a meat or fish menu - the choice is yours. If you have not yet become a lover of Istrian delicacies, this is the right opportunity to become one with promotional menu prices of €20 (HRK 150,69).
