Another global recognition for Terme Sveti Martin

Terme Sveti Martin proves once again that they are among the leaders of continental tourism as this year winner of a special and prestigious jury award in the category "Medical Spa". The award was given by ESPA (European Spas Association).

ESPA is an umbrella industrial organization whose global goal is to promote spas in Europe, as well as services based on thermal mineral water, landscape and climate, so that they are available to as many citizens and visitors as possible.

Terme Sveti Martin received this award as an authentic and unique destination in northern Croatia, which has developed over the years in "The first Healthness resort in Europe", a place for relaxation and wellness, sports and active holidays, with first-class local and organic gastronomy amidst the greenery of untouched nature. As a resort that has its foundations in the holistic philosophy of Dr. Rudolf Steiner encourages his guests and employees to change their way of thinking and bad habits, in order to maintain the balance of body, mind and spirit, and create harmony between man and nature.

From a biodynamic garden, through organically produced food in restaurants and organic cosmetics, all the way to organic architecture that follows the gentle lines of the hilly landscape in which the spas are located.

The basis of the business of Terme Sveti Martin is the healing thermal water, which according to the latest research is older than 43.000 years, and therefore we can say that the rest of the water area of ​​the Pannonian Sea. The distinctive healing properties of thermal water have been used in this way for years and complete the whole concept of a health holiday. At the source itself, the water temperature is 38 ° C, and it is pumped 800 meters deep. The famous Italian architect Maurizio Favetta is responsible for the appearance of the thermo-mineral pools of Terme Sveti Martin, who in cooperation with the Međimurje architects Reno and Vesna Vrbanec put this idea and interesting concept into practice. 

Terme Sveti Martin they represent the flourishing of continental tourism both in the area where they are located and in the area of ​​the entire destination. They work with the aim of raising awareness of a healthy holiday with a healthy attitude towards guests, but also towards workers. Dedicated to local culture, customs and traditions, but also trends in tourism, create new values which they pass on to all those who allow them to be their hosts. Terme Sveti Martin is the largest carrier of tourism in Međimurje County, and small wheels such as employees make the company different and competitive, both in the labor market and in the business world.
