The Croatian Culinary Cup is the first international competition to be held in Croatia in 2024 according to WACS standards as part of Days of Croatian Culinary Arts and brings additional prestige and international character to the event. Local chefs and confectioners are given the opportunity to compete with international colleagues, share experiences and get inspiration from global culinary trends.
The Croatian Culinary Days 2024 event, a prestigious annual event organized by HKS, will take place from November 10-16 in the Žatika hall in Poreč.
In the rich program, four competitive categories stand out Camelia Kup – a competition intended for promising high school students, which motivates young chefs and confectioners to improve and develop professionally, National championship in cooking– a championship where the best chefs of Croatia compete for the title of national champion, presenting technical skills, creativity and preservation of culinary standards, National championship in confectionery – confectioners from all over the country compete for the prestigious title of national confectionary champion, showing innovation and artistic abilities and Croatian Culinary Cup – the first international competition organized by HKS in cooperation with WACS.
Expert workshops and fair segment
One of the central parts of the event includes expert workshops and a fair segment. Metro i Unilever Food Solutions they run workshops dedicated to chefs, confectioners and visitors who want to improve their skills. Through practical advice and demonstrations, participants gain new knowledge about culinary techniques and innovations. At the fair, visitors can taste the products of HKS partners, learn about culinary innovations and be inspired by the latest trends and technologies in catering.
The event offers a rich content, including competitions, workshops, panel discussions and ceremonial parts. The official opening of the Croatian Culinary Day was announced for November 11, and the competitions are scheduled from November 11 to 15. The official announcement of the best will take place on November 15, and the entry to the Days of Croatian Culinary is free.
