The highlight of the event was Tuesday, October 22, when, to the delight of all lovers of good food and šushur, they took over the local Riva smells and tastes of autochthonous delicacies, crisp and light island cookies and sophisticated cocktails.

An outdoor cooking show was held. Bol High School, led by a teacher, was "in charge" of teaching Adom Šeferagić and well-known Croatian by chef Ivan Pažanin, a favorite local TV personality and one of the biggest advocates of Dalmatian cuisine. And what a record they saved it is an understatement to say that she was good - about a hundred servings of bean paste on brujet went up in just a few minutes. But gastronomic excitement it didn't end there - we also tasted the perfectly fragrant Brač gingerbread and soft ones painful flowers.

Bol Gourmet Week - a good experience guaranteed

Dalmatian Brunch Week in Bol is an opportunity to enjoy traditional Dalmatian dishes in top restaurants during the festival: Taverna, Santo, Ranch, Argento, beach bar Noa and Vendetta by Vagabundo. All days of the festival, restaurants will offer Dalmatian brunch at promotional price of 15 euros, which includes a daily meal offer and a glass of local wine.

On the first day of the festival we visited the restaurants in Bol and enjoyed a real rhapsody of tastes. The first stop was a restaurant - beach bar Noa, right on the beach. In the beautiful ambience of the restaurant, we were welcomed by the friendly host David Vukota and cheerful staff. We tasted lamb dolce garbo with polenta, leg of lamb in salsa sauce, superb grilled tuna steak with potato salad, with a glass of local wine. The leader of the gastro patrol, Ivan Pažanin, was delighted with the way the food was prepared and the flavors of the food.

We visited a restaurant in the very center of Bol Vendetta by Vagabundo, and enjoyed the real one fusion cuisine, which truly combined different culinary elements from two cultures for this occasion. We were delighted with the application of Brač varenik, a traditional product of the island of Brač with tuna tartar and prawns in tempura. Everything was completed with a glass of excellent red wine from Brac.

Family restaurant Holy, is located right in the center of Bol, with a wonderful view of the sea and the island of Hvar, offering a range of traditional Dalmatian specialties, fish and seafood dishes. Our culinary connoisseur Ivan Pažanin was delighted by the story of the restaurant's family tradition, and for this occasion he tasted mouse fish brujet with polenta and octopus in scabies with gnocchi. He rated the restaurant's domestic wines as excellent.

Traditional Brac cuisine and modern cuisine are the hallmarks of the restaurant Riva Tavern, in the very center on the Bol waterfront. The friendly host Josip Eterović introduced us to the range of dishes during the weekday brunch: white cod, lamb tripe, monkfish tripe with polenta, lamb with biji and potatoes, shark and stingray brudet with polenta, Dalmatian pašticada with gnocchi are just a part of the restaurant's offer tavern during weekday brunch. If you add to that offer homemade rozata and the queen of Brac delicacies, the "Hrapoćuša" cake, you don't need any additional reasons to visit this delicious station.

Another station in Bol that you must not miss is the restaurant Silver, recognizable by its offer of ready meals - brunch throughout the year. If you want to experience full enjoyment of the environment in which you are staying, taste their local and fresh food prepared according to traditional recipes. For the brunch week in Bol, they prepared new daily dishes every day, beef meatballs in tomato sauce, chicken ragout with macaroni, real Dalmatian pašticada and many other dishes.
