Booking.com reveals inspiring destinations from the films with the most Oscar nominations

The countdown has begun! We will soon know which films, actors, directors and creatives will receive some of the biggest accolades of the film industry during 94th edition of the glamorous film awards ceremony which takes place on March 27 this year. And with another top list of nominated candidates, this eagerly awaited awards ceremony will surely be followed by film lovers from all over the world.

The actions of the nominated films are not the only reason why they are worth watching. This year’s films are also a great source of inspiration for travel. From sleepy villages and bustling urban areas to unreal desert areas, because of these beautiful locations, fans will want to visit these beautiful places in reality.

In fact, according to Booking.com research, over four out of ten passengers (23%) intend to travel to a destination shown in a TV show or movie they like. With that in mind, and to celebrate this year’s awards season, Booking.com brings six destinations that are the focus of attention in the films with the most nominations this year.

Dunedin, Novi Zeland

One of the favorites for this year's best film is a western psychological drama set in the harsh environment of the American state of Montana in the 1920s.
