The Zadar installation Greeting to the Sun seems to be part of the Netflix parody that the world is buzzing about these days. Namely, near the end of the film, scenes from various parts of the world appear in which people look at the sky expecting a meteor strike, and one scene seems exactly like our famous installation Greeting to the Sun in Zadar. However, Croatia is not mentioned in the locations of the shooting, so the shot was obviously used in the film.

This famous installation Greetings to the sun is actually a 22-meter circle in a marble pavement with built-in solar panels. During the day, the panels collect sunlight and convert it into electricity. The best time to visit Greeting to the Sun is just before dusk, because then you will be able to enjoy the famous Zadar sunset. For him, even the English film director Alfred Hitchcock said that he is the most beautiful in the world, more beautiful than the one in Florida. After sunset, 10.000 light bulbs create different light effects in colors.
