That the origin of the "christening list" is Croats, Baška slabs, the most important Croatian Glagolitic monument and document in Jurandvor, near BAŠKA in the church of St. Lucy dating from 1100. The original plaque was moved to Zagreb in 1934 and is located in the hall of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The fact that the Glagolitic alphabet is still one of the trademarks of Baška is evidenced by the large sculptures in the form of Glagolitic letters placed along the road on the way to Baška - Baška Glagolitic path.
That in a dense forest near VRBNIK, or Risika, there is an almost hidden locality called Graz. The remains of the great Kaštel, the fortress of Duke Frankopan, have been preserved, and it is Gradec that is considered the place of their origin. This locality, perfectly integrated into nature and accessible only to the curious gaze of walkers, is an important monument that bears witness to the island's most famous noble family. When visiting Vrbnik, don't miss a walk down the narrowest street in the world.
