Interesting call, think about it, have you ever seen the first ray of sunshine in your life? The sight over Velebit will be an experience you will remember forever. To make the experience complete, enjoy the early morning concert "Unforgettable dawn in Nin" by Nela Šarić which starts at 5:30. From 9 a.m., the students of the "Petar Zoranić" Elementary School in Nin and the children of the "Morska vila" Kindergarten in Nin will have a short performance in front of and in the church.
Visitors can observe the Game of the Sun's Rays inside the Church of the Holy Cross with expert interpretation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and during the morning the youngest participants of the festival can take part in an art workshop in the Museum of Nin Antiquities.
In the afternoon program, Petar Zoranić Ninjanin and Vila Hrvatica will gather take Nino on a tour. At Višeslav Square from 20 pm, listen to the lecture by Prof. Ph.D. Ante Uglešić, Krsni zdenac with the name of Prince Višeslav, the most famous national and religious symbol of Croats.
///Church of the Holy Cross in Nin – "the smallest cathedral in the world"
The Church of the Holy Cross is a kind of symbol of the region since it is in the flag and coat of arms of Zadar County. According to knowledge, this special building was a votive chapel, and it is located in the immediate vicinity of the first cathedral in Croatia - the church of St. Anselm. The Church of the Holy Cross from the 9th century is one of the most valuable monuments of ancient Croatian architecture. The main guiding principle of the festival is to encourage education, science and various arts, young musicians and to raise the awareness of the population about the importance of the small church and Nin as the Croatian Stonehenge.
