Platak - four ski slopes with sea view open

Only half an hour's drive from Rijeka, about two hours from Zagreb and about ten kilometers as the crow flies from the sea is the popular ski resort Platak. So in the winter months you have the opportunity on the same day skiing and sledding on Platak, and then after the snow activities go down to the sea, for lunch and a walk. Platak is the only ski resort with a sea view and is a favorite destination for many skiers.

The trails opened today Radeševo ​​1, Zavoj 19, Tourist and Baby trail. It is available to skiers today and over the weekend cable car and conveyor belts Radeševo ​​and Baby lift which, as in previous days, will be intended for sledders.

Today, if the weather conditions allow it, night skiing will start, which will be organized this season on the lower part of the Radeševo ​​1 trail, in the area covered by the conveyor belt. As in previous years, night skiing, whenever the weather allows, will be Tuesdays and Fridays from 19 to 22 p.m.. Ski passes for night skiing will be available exclusively at the box office, which opens at 18 pm, at a price of 40 kuna for adults and 20 kuna for children under 12 years.

Nice weather and the opening of the cable car will probably attract many visitors to Platak this weekend, so more significant crowds can be expected. We also remind you of the obligatory winter equipment as well as adherence to the recommended epidemiological measures, primarily physical distance. COVID certificates for skiers and sledders in the open are not required for now.
