Poreč Tourist Board she successfully organized a free tour of the city as part of the project "Get to know your country", which is held on the occasion of the International Recognition Day of the Republic of Croatia, and this commendable event brought together more than 50 interested participants who had the opportunity to get to know the rich history and cultural heritage of Poreč.

Under the expert guidance of an experienced tourist guide Jadranko Mates, the participants went through the historical layers of the city, from ancient foundations to contemporary stories that shape the identity of Poreč. Special emphasis is placed on unique historical and cultural features that often remain hidden even from the eyes of everyday passers-by.
The tour began at Trg slobode, where the participants gathered on Sunday, January 12, at exactly noon. During the two-hour tour, Jadranko Mates delighted the attendees with interesting anecdotes and expert explanations, providing them with an insight into the rich history of Poreč, thereby further enriching their experience and deepening their understanding of the local cultural heritage.
