In addition to organized races and competitions, the area of Zlatna Slavonia is rich in marked trails that are available throughout the year, and are especially attractive in autumn.

Požega-Slavonia County abounds in the beauty of untouched nature, and the hospitality of the local population provides an unforgettable experience. It is interesting how this terrain offers walking and movement on plains, hill climbs, wooded areas, depending on the physical condition of each individual and his wishes and needs with regard to the area he wants to get to know.
Požega-Slavonia County is characterized by unique attractions and sights, untouched nature, excellent gastronomy that cherishes traditional dishes with top wines and authentic hospitality and is perfect for exploring.
Walking-running routes and paths of different lengths and difficulties are suitable for beginners, recreational players and experienced walkers or runners. As many as 15 such routes, ready for walking, are located in the Požega-Slavonia County, and are available at links.
Trek & Trail slippers
Trek & Trail slippers is the most famous trekking race in Slavonia and part of the Croatian Trekking League, which has been held for years in the organization of the Sports and Recreational Club "Baraber extreme team" Belišće and the Papuk Nature Park. The race is divided in three weight categories, and this year it takes place on Saturday, November 23 in Velika.
The most demanding CHALLENGER category is 32 kilometers long, and the race starts at 9 a.m. in front of the Old Town of Kaptol. An hour later, also in front of the Old Town of Kaptol, the 21-kilometer ACTIVE category race will start, and the competitors in the shortest LIGHT category, nine kilometers long, will start at 11 a.m. from the yard of the Papuk Nature Park Institution.
