Mljet is an island that is reputed to be the greenest island on our coast, and this island covers most of its area National Park. Many are attached to him stories and legends so one of the regular epithets attributed to this island is mystical.

The most interesting bays are those that you can reach by boat Okuklje, Prožura, Sobra and Polače and Sutmiholjska and Garma which are on the open side. Here you will find fabulous hidden pebble beaches and crystal clear sea. Peace, quiet and untouched nature reign here.

SUTMIHOLJSKA BEACH
The sandy beach Sutmiholjska is one of the most popular on the island, which is not surprising given the beauty of nature that surrounds it. It is located in the central part of Mljet, near Babino Polje, from where a small narrow road leads.
SOPLUNARA
Saplunara is a beautiful bay on the east side of the island, which if you are on Mljet you should not miss. Here you will always have the sun, but also the shade in a pine forest, and the bay is protected from the bora and mistral so it is ideal for peaceful enjoyment of the crystal clear sea.
GONOTURSKA BAY
A hidden cove in the north of the island is surrounded by a pine forest. The turquoise color of the crystal clear sea and beaches are ideal for enjoying without the crowds. There is perfect peace here with the chirping of birds and the sound of waves.
KOZARICA BAY
Kozarica is a small fishing village ideal for a relaxing holiday with peace and enjoying the beauty of nature. Tourists come here because of the ideal places for fishing and diving. This beach is hidden from mass tourism and ideal for rest and complete relaxation.
The town of Kozarica is 24 kilometers away from the ferry port of Sobra, and Sobra is connected by ferry with Prapratno on the Pelješac peninsula and by catamaran line with Dubrovnik.
CLOTHING
Ropa is located near the fertile Dugo polje and Rope bay. The inhabitants are engaged in viticulture and animal husbandry. The village was founded a little over 200 years ago by the settlement of several families from Babin Polje. In Ropa there is the church of St. Anthony from 1925.
It is interesting that Ropa Bay is a natural habitat Mediterranean monk seals (Monachus Monachus), one of the few remaining in the entire Mediterranean. Ropa Bay on the island of Mljet is full of caves and places where the Mediterranean fur seal gave birth and raised its young.
And last but not least, the advice of the locals, and these are the tips that should always be heeded: Do not miss swimming in the early morning when the crystal clear sea shines the first rays of the sun. A unique experience!
