Old Zagreb residents are particularly attached to one film, and not just any domestic film, but, according to the Croatian Critics' Association, our best film of all time. It is precisely the film Tko pjeva zlo ne misli It is the most famous film by director and screenwriter Kreša Golik and one of the most watched Croatian films in history.
The film takes place in the upper town apartment of the Šafranek family, in Samobor and the Sava bathing beach in 1935, and in Maksimir, and it was in the restaurant in Maksimir that they decided to organize a special evening inspired by this film.
On Friday, February 7, 2025, the atmosphere from the film "He Who Sings Does Not Think Evil" will come alive in Maksimir Park.
As announced, starting at 19 p.m., they will be organizing a special themed dinner inspired by the cult film by Krešo Golik. Guests are invited to dress up. inspired by Zagreb fashion of the 1930s.
Music from that time, as well as the younger music dear to the people of Zagreb, will be performed by Kings of the street. In the film Who Sings Means No Evil, subtitled "A Romantic Comedy with Singing," food plays an important role.
