Ecomuseum is the real Međimurje in miniature. It unites the most important values of Međimurje – folk music, archaeological and sacred heritage, mill on the Mura, washing of gold on the Drava, Old town of Zrinski, natural heritage, wine culture, traditional Međimurje gastronomy, the life and work of Dr. Rudolf Steiner, sports and recreation.

In Žabnik, on the Mura river, it still creaks a large wheel of a floating mill from the beginning of the 20th century. In addition to this unique object of rural architectural heritage, there is also a multimedia ethnographic exhibition "One day in the life of the miller Franc Žalar".
The miller craft is one of the many benefits that the Mura river provided to the inhabitants. Through 3D "miller's eyes" and many other interactive exhibits, it is possible to experience what the last miller from Mur, Franc Žalar, dreamed about, what he met and what he did in one day of his life.

In the surroundings of the mill there are a number of facilities: ethno collection of the Trstenjak family, two river scaffoldings, the Miller's House with a presentation of scaffolding, a fishing trail, a pedestrian-cycling and educational promenade, the Labyrinth of Love, the Međimurje horse stable, a bird watching room, the Miller's House bistro with local delicacies, rural tourism Goričanec with a horse farm and other facilities for a full-day family trip or recreation in a beautiful natural environment.
Between two waters, Križovec
The Med dvemi vodami visitor center in Križovac is imbued with love for Međimurje's natural heritage and the need to preserve it. What is a dead fish, does Međimurje also have its own codfish, why is it important to preserve the breguni, who are the marl people, what is the legend about the Drava waterman, who are the fljojsari...? This is only a part of the interesting questions answered by the multimedia interpretation set. In the surroundings of the center are the interpretation log cabin "My Oak Adam" and the children's playground Rječica.

Drava goldsmiths, Donji Vidovec
Goldsmithing in Međimurje implies the skill of washing gold from the Mura and Drava. The Romans already washed gold from these rivers. The center of goldsmithing in Međimurje is today in Donji Vidovec. The flushing technique is very simple, but it requires great physical strength and long absences from home. Because of this, goldsmithing was exclusively a man's job.

Saint Jerome, Štrigova
From the historical document of the bull of Pope Nicholas from the 15th century and the book of the Pauline Josip Bedeković Natale solum from the 18th century, it follows that this extremely important Christian saint, translator of the Bible into Latin, was born in today's Štrigova, that is, the former Roman Stridon. The story of this historical enigma, as well as the exceptional frescoes of the Baroque fresco painter Ivan Ranger, can be experienced in one of the most impressive churches in Međimurje. The original building was built before the 15th century, and it got its final outline with two towers in the 18th century.

The church is located on a hill above Štrigova in the heart of the Međimurje wine road, and nearby is a spectacular viewpoint on Magjerkina breg.
