In 2022, it will be held for the 17th time in a row Museum night, an event that began in 2005 with several Zagreb museums which in recent years has grown into the most important event of Croatian museums. The event will once again attract many fans of exhibitions in Zagreb's museums and galleries, which will host them in their premises or will be able to see them online.
Museum Night will be held January 28, 2022, when from 18 to 1 p.m. museums and galleries in 110 Croatian cities and municipalities will open after midnight. Of course, visitors will be received by all those who are able, depending on the epidemiological situation.
Last year, the Museum Night was held digitally for the first time, so this year's theme is dedicated to that experience "Museums between the real and the digital". Zagreb's museums and galleries regularly join the action. The exception will be those who were more severely injured in the earthquake in March 2020, so instead of the real one, they will offer those interested virtual walks through exhibitions, exhibitions, workshops and the like.
The Night of Museums event in Croatia is taking place since 2005, and from then until 2021 it is in the country directly or in digital form visited by almost 3,7 million people.
