The RangerRUN race has grown into one of the of the most popular and attractive trail races in Croatia. This was confirmed by the competitors who for the third edition of the race RangeRUN 2023. they have only words of praise.
Under the slogan "Awaken the Ranger in You" a now traditional race was organized with the aim of promoting nature protection and raising awareness of the preservation of natural beauty.
The band Stela and Comets ensured a good atmosphere, and the impressive list of donors ensured, according to the runners, the best winning gifts ever.
This year's RangerRUN race also had ambassadors: representative handball player Leon Šušnja and award-winning swimmer in several categories Gordan Kožulj - who also ran on the Recreational Track.
RangerRUN is organized in two categories, men's and women's, and on four tracks: KID's, Junior, Recreational and SavaRUN.
The winner of SavaRUN on the 9,4 kilometer course, Renat Dasović from AK Maksimir, needed only 36:55 minutes to reach the finish line. Ivanka Augustin from AK Nova Gradiška finished first in the women's category with 46,00 minutes.
Miloš Klindo in the men's category and Ivana Zeljko in the women's category won the 6,4-kilometer Recreational Trail, while Fran Filipović and Katja Komljenović won the 1,9-kilometer Junior Trail.
In the new category of this year's RangerRUN KID's at 200 meters, Viktor Mađar and Ksenija Moravec crossed the finish line first.
- We are extremely satisfied with how the race went, and we are especially happy with the positive comments from the runners. This gives us the motivation for further planning and development of the RangerRUN brand, pointed out the director of the Public Institution Lonjsko polje Nature Park Domagoj Šejatović.

- I want to praise the overall organization of the race, the cheap entry fee, the rich start package and the incredibly rich prize fund. We often unfairly skip races in small rural areas, and believe me this was a race with heart, not only because of the rich start and prize packages, but not least because of that. Hospitality and warmth was felt at every step. I am pleasantly surprised and will return to Krapje at the first opportunity.
- We thank and congratulate the race organizer who really made an effort to host all those who came to run or cheer. There was no shortage of food and drinks, the live rock concert delighted us.
