Rabac is the real jewel of "Croatian Tuscany" - as many often call Istria, and year after year visitors are attracted there by cultural sights, a rich food and wine offer, outdoor activities, but also of course the indispensable part: sea, sun and beaches. Before you take a well-deserved plunge into the clear, turquoise sea in one of the quiet bays, take a walk Along the path of divine sources, breathe fresh air and rest your eyes with a view of the most beautiful protected natural landscape of the Labin region.

Speaking of Rabac, we will highlight the interesting fact that one of the first Rabac tourists was the English travel writer and writer Richard Francis Burton, who stayed in Rabac as early as 1876. After that visit and a tour of other places along the coast of Istria, the book of the same name was created "Istrian coast" in which he describes both the beauty and the charm of the picturesque Rabac.
St. Beach Andrea
This mostly rocky and pebbly beach with arranged plateaus for lovers of sunbathing, it is located next to the promenade that stretches from the city center along the entire coast and you will easily find it near the Valamar Sanfior Hotel and the Miramar Sunny Hotel by Valamar.
Although we mentioned that, due to the landscaped concrete plateaus, the beach is ideal for lovers of sunbathing, and those who prefer to stick to the shade will find a place for themselves in the natural shade fragrant pines that surround the beach. You can also "feast" in the shade thanks to deckchairs and umbrellas that you can rent on the beach.

If relaxing in the shade isn't complete without your favorite cocktail or maybe an iced coffee, just pop over to one of the nearby beach bars. When you get tired of lazing around, break the monotony with one of the water sports.
On the beach, apart from pebble and rocky, there are also sandy parts in places. The entrance to the sea is shallow, so it is an excellent choice for families with children.
Girandella beach
It is one of the most popular beaches in the area of Rabac and offers something for everyone. It's just up to you to choose which part you like best: gravel, rocky or part with concrete slabs.

Where is it? The beach is located on the southeastern coast of Istria, only seventy meters from the beach of the same name tourist resort Girandella.
Because of the facilities offered to you on the beach, all ages will enjoy it throughout the day. Girandella offers you numerous opportunities. With snorkeling there are also water sports (the biggest attraction is water skiing and banana riding) and ball sports. Along the edge of the coastal promenade, you will find several restaurants when you get hungry from swimming and fun sports activities.

Maslinica beach
Maslinica is a beach adorned with sparkling white pebbles, it is 500 meters long, and it will delight you with its numerous facilities, thanks to which you can spend the whole day on the beach undisturbed. On the beach there is the possibility of renting sunbeds and umbrellas, buying newspapers, groceries and sea equipment. Public toilets, changing rooms and outdoor showers are also available to visitors.
Children will enjoy floating water park with various activities such as trampolines, climbing frames, various obstacles and a small slide, while the slightly older ones will have fun riding a pedal boat. It is important to note that this beach is fully adapted for use persons with disabilities, thanks to the ramp that enters the sea.

You will find refreshment in a few beach bars located in the shade of a pine forest. Thanks to the nearby restaurant and snack bar, you won't go hungry.
Lanterna beach
Pebble and rocky beach Lantern is located east of Rabac. It is located between Sveti Andrija and Girandella beaches, directly next to the tourist village of the same name. Lanterna mostly has a coast with a fairly gentle slope, which is why it is adored by families with children who also enjoy the nearby playground. Adults can choose from numerous restaurant terraces with an exceptional offer of Istrian specialties.
Deckchairs and umbrellas can be rented on the beach, and there are public toilets, changing cabins and outdoor showers. Thanks to rescue service which watches the visitors, you can enjoy your activities on the beach carefree.

Ravni beach
This beach, which is located next to the small town of Ravni, will be the first choice for those who want peace, quiet and romance. Ravni beach offers a combination of gravel, stone and concrete, and the sea there is extremely clean and moderately warm.
How to get to the beach?
You will reach the small, but no less attractive Ravni beach by a local road from the town of Ravni. From the beach itself there is a view of the island of Cres and the ferries on the way to Rabac which is located a little north of the beach. The road leads to the beach, i.e. to the concrete plateau where you can park.

Beneath the concrete slabs, the beach is pebble. It stands out especially for its favorable surfing waves - which will especially attract many surfers and all adrenaline seekers. If you enjoy exploring the seabed, don't think twice and go to this beach because, thanks to the deep and clear sea, it is very popular among divers.
