Autumn in November brings two extended weekends, and winter holidays during Christmas and New Year bring you even 17 days free for winter trips, and more 9 days in February for the ski season when we include the weekends, while the spring break this year does not offer many days, but allows for another 5 days to pack your bags and go on vacation during the Easter holidays and two extended weekends in May.

The first semester for schoolchildren officially lasts until December 20, 2024, and the second semester is from January 7 to June 13, 2025, that is, for high school graduates, until May 23. Therefore winter annual vacations for families of schoolchildren are planned from December 21 to January 6, a total of 17 days.

For those who did not catch the dates for the winter holidays in December and January, the option of the second part of the winter holidays in February remains. The second part of the winter vacation for students it starts on February 24th and ends on February 28th, with classes starting on March 3rd, 2025 which brings nine days for winter vacations or for those who don't like winter destinations, maybe research.

You also have the opportunity for an extended weekend November 18th, for the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Homeland War and the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Vukovar and Škabrnja, which falls on Monday.

Spring vacation to catch the first rays of the sun due to the delay in the start of the school year lasts only 5 days
Spring break for students begins on April 17 and ends on April 21, with classes starting on April 22, 2025, which is again enough days to plan a trip. Spring holidays are an ideal opportunity for walks along the sun-drenched coast, or a tour of nature parks and National Parks before the season and crowds have started.
