From May 19th to June 1st, Rovinj becomes the epicenter of the Istrian gourmet experience, and during the exclusive event Seasonal Food & Wine, leading Rovinj chefs take visitors on a unique culinary journey through Istria - through the seasons on the plate, through tradition in a new guise, and through a story about sustainability, locality, and authentic flavors.

At Rovinj's most prestigious restaurants, including La Serra Anno Domini 547 on St. Andrew's Island, the sophisticated Laurel & Berry at the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, the charming Brasserie Adriatic located in the heart of the old town, and innovative addresses like Artičoka, Al Dente, and Sapori di Spirito Santo, chefs create menus inspired by the best that the Istrian land and sea have to offer.

Seasonal ingredients, organically grown produce, wild herbs, local fish and meat are transformed into works of art on the plate, while each dish is accompanied by a carefully selected Istrian wine that further emphasizes the richness of flavor and terroir.

Gourmet story about season and tradition

During this unique event, guests will be able to taste sumptuous creations such as Adriatic tuna tartare with sweet potato and seaweed cream, focaccia with wild asparagus and crumbled cottage cheese, ravioli stuffed with Istrian cheese, boškarin dishes and white fish delicacies. The sweet part of this gourmet story is completed by innovative interpretations of traditional desserts such as bay leaf semifreddo and rye crumble.
