Are you wondering how to combine sports, a top-notch wine and gastronomic offer, and a noble cause? The answer to that question is Zagreb County Tourist Board which, in collaboration with the Croatian Association of Skiing and Snowboarding Enthusiasts, is organizing a unique eno-gastronomic event. Zagreb County Ski & Wine Festival will be held February 23rd on Sljeme, and a rich sports and food and wine program has been announced.
The event will also have humanitarian character that is, the entire project is dedicated to supporting the Bistra Special Hospital, an institution that cares for the most vulnerable group of children with serious health conditions. The collected funds will be aimed at improving the quality of their care and better conditions for treatment.

In the sports section, which begins the program of events, there will be second Memorial Race "Tomislav Pavalić Tomb", a race on Sljeme that will provide competitors and recreational athletes with the opportunity to start the day actively in nature and Bistra Cup in giant slalom which is scored for the Generali Cup of Croatia for recreational skiers.
After the sports efforts from 13 to 16 pm, there will be Wine Fest – an eno-gastronomic experience at Vidikovac, during which winemakers and the wine and gastronomic offer of the Zagreb County will be presented. Then it will follow educational workshops: “The Art of Drinking Wine and Sparkling Wine through the Story of Zagreb County” by lecturer Darko Lugarić and “Sustainable Destination Gastronomy” by lecturer Monika Antolović. The following will be held Humanitarian raffle which will allow participants to contribute to a noble cause, with the possibility of winning exclusive prizes. And at the end, there will be an informal socializing with top wines and music.
U eno-gastronomic offer The Dobra Berba Winery (Saša Štula) and the Robert Braje Winery will participate, while in the gastronomic segment present traditional corn bread - OPG Robić, homemade lard from local production, and wild garlic - an indigenous plant of Medvednica, known for its nutritional properties and intense aroma.
