This year's Istria Wine&Walk, which will be held on Saturday, May 17th, will offer participants a selection of fourteen handpicked winemakers who create their wines precisely in this part of Istria: Kozlović, Coronica, Franković, Clai, Degrassi, Monte Rosso, Fiore, Benčić, Novacco, Bassanese, Veralda, Bastian, Cattunar and Celega, and they will be joined by the iconic Truba bar, which will offer walkers perfectly chilled Spritzes.
Special attention will be paid to the gourmet experience, so visitors at each point will enjoy the specialties of as many as eleven local partners, including signature dishes from some of the best restaurants in northwestern Istria. To make this 12-kilometer-long wine walk through beautiful olive groves and vineyards truly special, wine enthusiasts will have the opportunity to discover some of the most beautiful parts of the region, such as the Kaštanjari viewpoint, the highest point of the route that stands out with a beautiful view of Učka and the Adriatic Sea, a lake in the vineyard, the Škarline Nature Park, and the Žmergo viewpoint with a view of Baredine, Brtonigla, Buje, and the Mirna River valley.
