The Zagreb County Tourist Board in Samobor organized a photo-making workshop for social networks

As part of the organization of educational photo workshops for social networks that are conducted throughout Croatia, the Zagreb County Tourist Board in cooperation with the Croatian Tourist Board in Samobor organized a field workshop with the aim of education so that every stakeholder in tourism can better present your products and services on social media which are today an indispensable channel of communication to all types of public.

We know how valuable and unavoidable nowadays social networks are as a tool for communication and conducting promotional activities, and how good and correct photography practically the main communication which carries a message to potential tourists and companions.

He held a workshop renowned Croatian photographer, Damir Hoyka, and it was conceived for photo beginners and all the shots were made with a mobile phone. Mobile phone is the basic tool with which everyone communicates on social networks and creates content on mobile devices that they upload to social networks.

The photo trip has begun in the heart of Samobor, on King Tomislav Square. A real urban pearl with its preserved old town and numerous cultural sights, it was a real lure for the stakeholders of the educational photo workshop, not only because of its charm but also because of the beautiful green surroundings and enchanting views.

The Zagreb County Tourist Board continues to organize this workshop through promotional activities with an emphasis on the use of photographs as a means of communication for the needs of social networks.

- Our vision is to create the identity of the destination, and in order to realize that vision, the process must be alive for all visitors and tourists who come to the destination. As the photo competition aimed to show a unique experience, based on the feeling and experience of the destination and through the lens of each of us to highlight the unique attributes of a destination with what makes it different from others, authentic, so these workshops aim to teach all stakeholders in tourism how to evoke emotion with photography. With all these projects we want to influence the preservation and promotion of identity and tradition and the image of our green and sustainable destination in general., said the director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board, Ivana Alilović adding that some of the winners in the photo competition are also participating in this field workshop.
