The first Cannabis Museum in Croatia opened in the center of Zagreb

In the last few years, cannabis has increasingly filled the columns of many media outlets. This is most often in a positive context given the fact that new scientific research points to a variety of benefits, from health use to multifunctional properties and even construction.

Kračun Company, the owner of the hemps.hr chain of stores where you will find the largest selection of hemp products, decided to push the story beyond the store itself and open the first Cannabis Museum Zagreb. It is also a museum of this type first in the region.

In the courtyard side of the RBA bank at Petrinjska 59, you will see Cannabis Museuma. The building is spread over two floors, with a total internal area of ​​250 and an external courtyard area of ​​150 square meters.

- The plant in our area is hemp from the allowed list of EU varieties, and it came to us from the Nubikan company where it served as a mother for propagation / cloning. We ensured the legality by reporting the cultivation to the Ministry of Agriculture, and obtained the green light and documentation for the transfer of the plant to our museum. The exact sequence is known, which is clearly documented and attached to the Ministry itself according to their instructions. It's not as complicated as it sounds and I would like to thank the Ministry for their kindness, explains Tvrtko.

Upstairs we are going through eneteogenic use, from history to modern times. Here is a rich collection of recent exhibits from this area. The medical use is also discussed, where the endocannabinoid system of living beings, cannabinoids and accompanying compounds in terms of terpenes and flavonoids, which form the main composition of the cannabis plant, are illustrated. There is also a "universal cannabis" room. She talks about the multifunctional use, from construction, insulation and nutrition given the rich nutritional value of the cannabis plant.
