///Bol on Brač: Zlatni Rat Beach is getting longer every year

The changing coastline of the Croatian Zlatni rat beach is known among the local population as Zlatni rog. A twenty-minute morning walk along the Bol promenade brings visitors to paradise with pine trees at the southernmost point of Brač, with a number of bars and restaurants, and the clear water in the shallows is ideal for diving, the Telegraph describes.

In the "family category", along with Golden War, on the Telegraph list, there were also Pacific Beach in California and Porthcurno Beach in Cornwall, England.

Fascinating Golden War

Zlatni rat beach is the most recognizable sight of Bol on Brač one of the most searched locations on Google Street View in Croatia. This unique beach was created by the deposition of fine golden gravel around the submarine reef, extending like a tongue up to 500 meters into the sea.

Under the influence of winds, waves and sea currents, the peak of Golden War constantly changes its shape, making it different and interesting every time. Its shape depends on the influence of waves and sea currents, so the top of Zlatni Rat is bent a little to the west, a little to the east, and unfortunately sometimes a small pool is made. Because of all this, it is called a geomorphological wonder and is protected by law as a significant landscape.

The promenade to the beach is paved, but you can also get to Zlatni Rat by boat or tourist train. If you want to enjoy the view of the recognizable shape of the Golden War, it is most beautiful to observe it from the heights of the nearby Vidova Gora, or while floating over it with a parasail.
