The Little Gornji Grad Festival will also enliven Gornji Grad this year with a variety of content

Last year, for the first time, the Little Upper Town Festival provided contents to the citizens of Upper Town in Zagreb, enlivened the mornings, days and evenings, and it will be the same this year on one weekend in October. The organizers, the Lovro & Nina Art Organization and the Museum of the City of Zagreb, hope to encourage further similar activities with this festival. Through various contents, the desire is to achieve quality socializing and togetherness and to revive Gornji grad.

From October 23 to 27 a number of events are organized - exhibition, walk, lecture, workshops, concerts, plays, poetry evening.

To begin with - the popular tour in the Museum of the City of Zagreb "Zbigecani Zagreb with Keti Klinček". On the same day, the presentation of Srđan Dedić, a composer from the neighborhood, will be held in Kula nad Kameniti vrata. In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy daily guided tours of the Museum of the City of Zagreb.

The festival is preparing an origami exhibition by Igor Petlevski, a botanical walk through the parks of Gornje grad, Ana Pogorelić and Luka Šatara will recite and act, Lucija Rücker will teach, all residents of Gornje grad. They will be joined by guests from Zagreb through concerts, performances, workshops and a poetry evening; cellist Monika Leskovar, actors Nikša Marinović and Miran Kurspahić and organists Aleksej Vilegžanin from Austria and Tea Kulaš from Zadar.

Organ music and the thoughts of Jozo Kljaković will be heard in the church of St. Marko, lyrics by Ivica Prtenjača in the coffee bar Abyssinija. See the plays The Wonderful Journey of Rock and Roll (10+) in the basement of the Crni mačak coffee bar and Applause Theater and Tennessee Williams' Duodrama in the Small Stage Theater. In the space of the Gornji grad Local Board, socialize with the programs Yoga and tea and Tango and champagne, as well as the Let's Know the Organ workshop for children.

Everyone is invited, admission to all events is free, including guided tours of the Museum of the City of Zagreb during the festival, once a day, with prior notice at info@mgz.hr.
