The Tourist Board of Split-Dalmatia County has announced a prize photo contest called "The Summer of Your Dreams" in which it invites all interested parties to apply and show the magic of a summer vacation in Split-Dalmatia County through photography.
Photography topics can be varied, but specific and unrepeatable Dalmatian moments are preferred, i.e. the Dalmatian way of life conveyed in an immediate, charming and authentic way.
The contest is open to all citizens of the Republic of Croatia, regardless of whether they are amateur or professional photographers, and participants can send a maximum of three photos that best represent their vision of an ideal summer in Central Dalmatia.
The competition is open from August 7 to August 31, 2024. and the expert jury will choose the three best photos, which will be awarded with cash prizes.
According to the given criteria, the photo must be taken in the area of the Split-Dalmatia County, contestants who have social networks (Facebook, Instagram) should post a photo with a hashtag on their profile #ljetovasihsnova and mark the official profile of the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board @centraldalmatia. Authors can send a maximum of three photos and retain all associated copyrights.
Photos are sent to the official e-mail address: foto@dalmatia.hr, and in the application it is necessary to state: first and last name, ID number, contact information (mobile phone number and e-mail address), the location where the photo was taken and, if desired, a short description attached to the photo. The photo(s) must be in color (photos of b/w variants can also be submitted to the competition, but in that case it is necessary to send a color version of the same photo).
Prizes
The first three best-ranked photos will be awarded by TZ SDŽ with cash prizes, with the note that the photos can later be used for promotional purposes without a time limit.
