Booking.com is proud to announce the winners of its 13th annual Traveller Review Awards. Based on over 360 million verified guest reviews, the awards recognize travel partners who consistently deliver exceptional hospitality and service. In 2025, the award was presented to a record 1,71 million partners, a 16% increase from the previous year. It includes 1.711.539 accommodation facilities, 1329 car rental companies in 124 taksi carrier.

For the eighth year in a row, the largest number of award winners comes from Italy (207.730), followed by France (155.203), Spain (147.700), Germany (102.031) and the United Kingdom (88.209). The United States (70.259) also makes the top ten list in sixth place, followed by Poland (69.709), Brazil (67.876), Greece (66.994) and Croatia (56.648).
Apartments and cottages continue to lead the segment of accommodation facilities
Apartments For the eighth year in a row, they remain the most awarded type of accommodation (847.627 awards). Cottages (259.105) retained second place, surpassing for the third year in a row hotele (190.670). It is noticeable that capsule hotels recorded an annual increase in the number of awards of 35%, the highest among all types of accommodation facilities, followed by vile (25%) and mountain houses (21%). Overall, the number of awards for vacation accommodations and other unique facilities increased by 17%, reflecting the continued enthusiasm of travelers for a variety of facilities that offer exceptional hospitality and unforgettable experiences.

Since 2010, Booking.com has facilitated more than 4,5 billion guest arrivals, of which more than 1 billion were to alternative accommodations, or properties other than hotels. Today, travelers can browse more than 30 types of accommodations, including everything from cozy farmhouses, stylish city apartments, and elegant villas to charming bed and breakfasts, spacious farm stays, and beach bungalows. Even boats, igloos, and treehouses are available for adventurous travelers.
Travel service providers recognized for excellent service and hospitality
Car rentals and taxis on Booking.com are part of a seamless and hassle-free travel experience, supporting the mission of making it easier for everyone to explore the world. This year, 1329 car rental partners from 100 countries are receiving the Traveller Review Award, a 196% increase compared to the 2024 awards. The United States leads the way for the first time in the number of car rental companies awarded (181), followed by Spain (113), the United Kingdom (106), Germany (92) and France (88). In addition, a total of 124 taxi companies were recognized for their impeccable ride services.
