It will be a year old, in front of the semi-dome near the Great Park (below Koprivić), send off exactly at noon with a traditional New Year's toast by the mayor of Krk. An entertaining musical program will be provided by a popular band group L'amour, which will also provide a great atmosphere for socializing and celebrating together this year. Especially for this occasion, he will share even a thousand glasses of premium Krk sparkling wines.
Kvarner, as the third region for sparkling wine production in Croatia, offers a rich selection of labels that you will have the opportunity to taste at the New Year's toast. These sparkling wines are made from autochthonous grape varieties, thus reflecting the centuries-old tradition and skill of Kvarner winemakers.
The largest concentration of sparkling wine production is located on the island of Krk, in Vrbnik, where wineries are members Association of Kvarner Wines achieved international recognition. The sparkling wines Valomet Natur Brut (PZ Vrbnik), which is aged under the sea and carries the prestigious Decanter award, and Gospoja Brut (Gospoja pz), which was declared the best sparkling wine in Southeast Europe in 2019, stand out in particular. Along with them, you will also taste sparkling wines such as Biser Mora (Katunar Estate Winery), Biser Žlahtina (Ivan Katunar Wine House) recognized at this year's international Decanter's evaluation, Soubze Nada (Nada Winery) produced using the traditional method and Maličić od Žlahtina (Vinarstvo Šipun) produced by Tankovo method.
New Year's Eve with Eni and Vjeka
After the cheerful daily program, the evening New Year's party will be held in the same place, in front of the semi-dome near the Great Park, starting at 22:30 p.m. The atmosphere will be warmed by well-known performers Eni Jurišić and Vjeko Kljucarić.
