The weekend that is ahead of us brings to all lovers of the good old days the eighth edition of the favorite festival, which will take visitors this year again, like some kind of time machine, on a journey to times gone by. Live concerts, performances by dance groups, creative workshops for children, exhibition oldtimer cars and motorcycles, and mini Retro fair and flea market with offers pin-up clothing and fashion details guarantee good fun for both young and old visitors.

This year's festival story begins on Friday, June 28, with a musical warm-up at the well-known Hang Loose Rockabilly Bar in Vinkovci with a performance by DJ Azimuth from 20 p.m., followed by the energetic Greasy Flat 4. Entrance at warm up the gig on Friday is free.
The main festival events follow on Saturday, June 29, at the Šokačka apartment in Vinkovac, a green oasis on the edge of town.
The festival gates open at 13 p.m., with the opening of the handicraft fair and flea market, as well as the open-air beauty salon where visitors will be able to apply make-up, get a hairstyle in the spirit of the times or get a tattoo.

At the same time, the exhibition of vintage vehicles starts. The exhibition is thematic, because the organizers want to fit it visually into a certain period, so they invite owners of vintage cars with a model year before 1970, as well as owners of motorcycles with a model year up to 1980, to visit the festival with their tin pets. The driver and passenger of each vehicle participating in the exhibition have free entrance to the festival.
Entertainment for the youngest, organized by the Society naša dječa and Tinker Labs, starts at 18 p.m., with various workshops and fun activities. It is important to note that the entrance to the festival is free for children up to 12 years old.

From 18 p.m., the beginning of the already traditional Pin-Up Photosession is planned, in the picturesque surroundings of Šokački stan and with attractive Retro scenography. Interested photographers can apply at e-mail or at the Info desk at the location, up until the start of the festival.
At the same time, dance workshops begin where everyone interested will receive a handful of tips, learn a few tricks to improve their dancing skills, and warm up slightly for the dance under the stars that follows.

The musical part of the program starts at 20 with the performance of the Greasy Flat 4 band from Vinkovci, followed by the well-known B and the Bops, and guests from France - Jake Calypso and his Red Hot - will bring the party to its peak.
The cheerful and lively rhythms performed by these bands will make even those with a pair of left legs dance. The first Hang Loose rockabilly festival called Shake this Town was held in 2017 as a one-day event in the courtyard of the Vinkovac gymnasium and really shook the town - in the most entertaining way possible. The people of Vinkovci greeted this unusual event with enthusiasm, so the organizers of the festival, Ana and Matija Vukoja, decided to continue organizing the festival and try to be even better and more interesting every year.
